What a contractor CRM actually does
Most small contractors don't lose money because they're bad at the work. They lose it in the gaps — the callback that never got returned, the estimate that sat in drafts for four days, the invoice nobody sent until three weeks after the job wrapped. A contractor CRM closes those gaps by keeping the whole lead-to-paid path in one place.
In JobWorks365 that path looks like this:
- Lead comes in. A call, a referral, a web form, or a contact shared straight from your phone's share sheet. It lands in the pipeline with a name, an address and a note about what they want.
- You quote it. Build an itemized estimate with labour and materials, send it for e-signature, and see when it's viewed.
- It becomes a job. Accepted estimates turn into jobs with milestones you can assign to the crew on the calendar.
- The crew works it. Hours get logged with a GPS-verified clock-in, photos and notes get attached to the job.
- You get paid. Deposit up front, progress payments through the schedule, final invoice with an online payment link.
